16.02.2010 THE 717GT won EPY Award 2010
717GT, the latest Frauscher model inspired by Gentelmen’s racer of the ‘20es , won the "European Powerboat of the Year" award on the 23rd January during the Boats fair “ boot” in Düsseldorf - Germany .
EPY Award is promoted by the European motorboat magazine "BOOTE" (Germany) co – operated with further international important magazines: Yacht Revue (Austria), marina.ch ( Swiss ), Neptune (Franch), Barche a Motore (Italy) and Batliv ( Norway).
The Frauscher Boatyard became nominations in 2007 with 686 Lido, 2008 with 606 Riviera, 2009 with 909 Benaco. In 2010 the 717GT brought the victory together with the nomination for the "innovation award 2010" with our "Future Project Hydrogen" and 600 Rivera.
After three nominations in a row, winning the EPY award has been the statement of the growning asset of the austrian yard.
The 717GT has been considered the best out of 5 motorboats in the category up to 30 feet.
This award has a part of his rooth in Italy: the team-work with the Italian Boatyard Cantiere Nautico Feltrinelli took significant part in this project: thanks to the know-how and qualified competence of many generations involved in powerboats, the Italian yard makes a significant contribution to the prototypes development. Indeed, the whole Frauscher's Sport boats production is regularly tested by Feltrinellis on Garda Lake ,where 's the head office.
